About
Pila is a portable table lamp where light becomes presence. A glowing sphere seems to float inside its shell when lit — and fades away when turned off. With a slow, smooth hand movement, the top gently rotates, changing both the direction of light and the lamp’s expression. A calm, sculptural object designed to fit anywhere.

The design in detail
Pila is created with light as its starting point – not only as function, but as form. How it moves. What it touches. How it feels.
It’s made of four parts: a clear acrylic base, a spherical top with two halves — one clear acrylic, the other metal — and the removable Frandsen ONE light source. The light offers three brightness settings and can run cordless for up to 12 hours.
When turned on, a glowing orb seems to float inside the layered sphere, created by the way light plays with the materials. When off, this glow disappears, leaving a quiet, elegant shape. The top can be turned with a gentle, flowing hand movement, shifting both the light beam and the mood of the lamp.
Pila doesn’t demand attention. It offers it.
